Shark Evoline Helmet 2 in 1 Open+Full Face Flip Black/Silver SUPER SALE

Bought this helmet a couple of months ago and had Cameron install the J&M headsets. I waited until now to do a review because I wanted to see how it performed on a longer ride. First of all, the sound from the internal speakers is nothing short of fantastic. Everything from the intercom to my iPod was crystal clear even though we had a lot of wind turbulance. The finish is thick and glossy. So much so that my wife can see behind her from the reflection when we are riding two up. The helmet is slightly heavier than the HJC modular I traded up from, but it is so perfectly balanced and so much quieter that it's not noticeable. The face shields work great and the field of vision is greater than with most helmemts. You pay a premium for this helmet, but I feel it's worth it for all the features

This shark helmet is finished beautifully - the color coating is thick & feels great. The same applies to the interior - excellent quality, roomy and not intrusively noisy at any speed. Also (unlike the Nolan N103), there is LOADS of room for the mic in front of your mouth.

I have to agree with the previous review; Cameron definitely does a great job installing the elite headsets. Wingstuff really know their work when it comes to custom, professional installs!

The only reason i took down 1 star is due to the fact that the retractable sun visor is TOO SHORT. It should extend a little lower so that it does not sit exactly in the line of sight (a bit annoying, but you get used to it eventually)

Make no mistake - this is a heavy helmet. But it hides its weight extremely well, whether open or closed.

I have been researching helmets for a couple months trying to find the right helmet. This helmet caught my eye. I read a few reviews from Europe and everyone liked them. I tried on most of the other helmets and found them to cheaply made and heavy. I wanted a helmet that had the integrated sound that would plug into my GL1800. I called Wingstuff and spoke with Cameron (the Helmet GURU). He installed the J & M headset and the helmet works great. It fits very well, not very noisy and has a finish that will blind you. The other features such as the flip down visor and the movable chin guard work very well and are easy to use. The internal visor is not that dark and comes down to the right level. The helmet is on the heavy side but it does not feel heavy. It has outstanding balance and is not effected by wind that much. I usually ride with a full face but had to try riding with visor up yesterday, outstanding performance. The mic picked up great, had plenty of comfort and the balance was great with the chin guard back. I was told by Cameron that this helmet will up the other modular helmets to shame and he is right. The material on the inside of the helmet is very plush and comfortable. I will be ordering another one of these shortly. I think Wing Riders will adopt this helmet as the new standard for touring helmets. I cannot give this helmet anything less than 5 stars... I flew in the Marine Corps and had a custom fitted helmet, this fits as well as my old flight helmet does.... Thanks Wingstuff!!! (Especially Cameron)
